Ron Coons has more than 30 years of business leadership experience in various industry sectors with the last 16 years’ being spent helping businesses make dramatic improvements with their safety and health programs. He is the founder and past president of the Safety & Health Council of the Hudson Valley, a VPP affiliated not-for-profit that offers free training and networking opportunities to its more than 500 members. He is an OSHA outreach trainer for both construction and general industry and recently launched the Academy for Performance Excellence which offers seminars and workshops that focus on developing an organizations “in-house” resources who are charged with the responsibility of improving employee safety and health. He holds a bachelor's in Occupational Safety & Health Management as well as a certificate in Industrial Hygiene and Human Resource Management.

Alicia Dorsey is an environment, health and safety leader for Catamount Consulting. She offers an enthusiastic approach to employee training and compliance support, providing interactive coaching and training for operations employees as well as those in management roles. Dorsey has been in the industry for 23 years, most recently serving as environment, health and safety manager for a multi-functioning manufacturing company where she was responsible for leading the development and implementation of management systems to ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements impacting the facility. She has also worked as an industrial hygienist for the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA - NC). She is a member of ACGIH, ASSE, and AIHA.

Scott McKenna is the President of Catamount Consulting of New York. He is a professional member of the International Society of Mine Safety Professionals (ISMSP), a certified instructor with the Mine Safety Health Administration, and an OSHA Certified Construction Trainer. He has over 15 years experience in the mining and construction industries and is active in the Joseph A. Holmes Safety Association among others. He has authored or contributed to several published articles on construction and mining safety and lectures on a regular basis to a wide variety of business and safety professionals. Mr. McKenna is also a certified trainer or instructor in a broad range of disciplines.

Richard Wobby Jr is president of Catamount Consulting of Vermont. He has deep experience in the construction and mining industries as a safety management consultant and professional speaker, helping more than 100 companies in their safety systems. Constantly in demand, Wobby speaks to an average of 50 associations, companies, trade shows and conventions each year teaching his philosophy across New England. He continues to consult with an average of 50 clients annually, assisting in and improving their safety performance. He has developed several safety programs and policies for the construction and mining industries.

Irvin Gill is the president of Catamount Consulting of Pennsylvania in Wyomissing. He has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry as well as safety management and training, most recently serving as the area coordinator for a large mining company overseeing all aspects of their open pit mining operations. His combination of knowledge, real world experience and expertise bring our clients a unique perspective in both training and consulting. Irv is also a certified trainer or instructor in a broad range of disciplines.

Jim is one of Catamount Consulting's Onsite Safety Professionals. He has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry with extensive knowledge of health and safety, project estimating and bidding, construction management from ground breaking to project completion, purchasing/inventory and cost control, HR management, supervision and training.
President of GA Office and Chief Instructor of Tactical and Firearm Training
Charlie is president of Catamount’s Georgia office and is chief instructor of Tactical and Firearm Training Divisions. He specializes in corporate and civilian risk mitigation, security assessment and threat resolution strategies for workplace violence and active threat events, as well as advanced and tactical firearms training for use in self, home, business, executive and family protection strategies. Charlie has 33 plus years of law enforcement experience on the federal, state and local level having served for over 25 years with the U.S. Marshals Service and the Department of Homeland Security. He is an avid martial/combat arts practitioner and instructor, and holds numerous national and international training certifications.

Ron Witt is the President of Catamount Consulting of Pennsylvania in Kunkletown. He has been involved with safety and safety training for over 24 years. His experience ranges from having worked in both mining and construction as well as being an instructor at both Penn State and Drexel University. These experiences bring an extensive amount of safety knowledge and real world experience to our clients in both training and consulting. As a certified MSHA instructor, Master OSHA Instructor, ATSSA work zone Instructor or as an Instructor for the Rigging Institute, Ron can deliver quality, objective driven training classes to your operation.
Certified Police Firearms Instructor
Steve Huntington is a certified Police Firearms Instructor (in Patrol Rifle, Shotgun and Handgun) as well as a General Topics Police Instructor. He has over 27 years of experience as a Police Officer and Instructor. Mr. Huntington instructed firearms training at the Zone 5 New York State Law Enforcement Officers Academy, Fort Edward Police Officer's Part Time Law Enforcement Academy as well as School Director & Instructor for the village of Lake George Peace Officer Academy. Steve is also a AAA Defensive Driving Instructor.
Certified Mine Safety Instructor
As a former US Marine and Mine Safety Health Administration Supervisor, Mike has received extensive training and experience in all facets of the safety industry. As a certified mine safety instructor, Mike utilizes his experience to assist mine operations and construction workers with compliance and general safety training. Mike specializes in assisting with legal matters following citations and compensation matters as well as supervisory and management training.
Heidi is the Office Manager for Catamount Consulting offices. Heidi’s primary objective is to oversee all offices for the Catamount Group, the Learning Management System (LMS) program, the online training portal and development of future Catamount offices. Catamount Consulting has offices throughout the Northeast. Catamount has developed several national seminars including Supervisor Seminars and ACRI Training. She also assists with our on-Site, Mobile Drug and Alcohol Testing and Mobile Hearing functions. Heidi has over 8 years of experience in the mining industry and is active in many safety associations.
Onsite Safety Professional
Elliot has 5 years of experience in the mining and construction industries and is one of our Onsite Safety Professionals. He has extensive knowledge of health and safety, construction management, supervision and training. Elliot is MSHA Certified as well as being training in many OSHA disciplines including Fall Protection, Scaffolding, First Aid and CPR Certified, and Hazard Recognition.
Diane Duell assists in the day-to-day operations of Catamount Consulting and plays a vital role in our ability to deliver small- to medium-sized businesses with professional safety services, consultation, and compliance strategies at a fair price and with the highest regard for quality and employee safety. She also assists with our on-Site, Mobile Drug and Alcohol Testing and Mobile Hearing functions.
Ed Jerome, CIH, CSC
Occupational Safety and Health
Ed Jerome joined retired from US Department of Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Washington, DC. where he served as Chief of Safety, Health and Emergency Management. He brings with him more than 35 years experience in the occupational safety and health profession. At BLM, Ed was responsible for planning, developing and administering a comprehensive national program which supported the unique natural resource mission for this agency of over 10,000 employees. Ed also has extensive experience with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Over his 33 year career at OSHA, he worked in management and technical positions including as Area Director for OSHA’s Albany Area Office. Ed is a certified industrial hygienist and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health Science from Hunter College, City University of New York. Ed holds professional memberships in AIHA and ASSE.
