Ron Coons brings more than 40 years of business leadership experience across a wide range of industries, including 27 years dedicated to helping organizations build and sustain world-class safety and health cultures in manufacturing, warehousing, retail, construction, and transportation. In addition, he has more than 10 years of experience in Human Resources, giving him a well-rounded perspective on organizational performance and employee engagement. Ron is the founder and past president of the Safety & Health Council of the Hudson Valley, a VPP‑affiliated nonprofit organization that provides free safety training and networking opportunities to more than 500 member organizations. He is an OSHA Outreach Trainer for construction and general industry, an MSHA instructor, and an NSC instructor for Defensive Driving (DDC), Flagger Training, and First Aid/CPR/AED. Ron is also a JLG‑certified instructor, providing MEWP and telehandler operator training and certification.
