Municipality Specific Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Annual Refresher Training

Municipality Specific Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Annual Refresher Training

PART 46 MSHA TRAINING

Historically the Department of Labor has provided the training necessary to stay compliant with Part 46 MSHA, but since COVID-19 restrictions started in 2020, they have been severely restrained in providing this necessary training.

MSHA was providing leeway with training regulations but is now expecting compliance as usual. Catamount offers a quick and easy way to deliver the required training for your company – via virtual or in-person.

Our MSHA refresher course is available in person or virtually and we tailor topics to fit your town’s needs as a highway garage. This package includes:

  • Over 8 hours of training
  • Tailored training topics such as: work zone safety, snowplow safety, emergency management
  • Training based on MSHA’s Part 46 Requirements
  • Award-winning training program and educators

This curriculum is designed in compliance with federal requirements to offer miners of all experience levels a useful, comprehensive, and effective training tool. In accordance with federal regulations, this class must be administered in conjunction with supervised, on-site training as part of an approved training plan.

The information provided in this course is based on extensive industry research, insights from experienced miners, and MSHA best practices.

Our goal is to provide you with a valuable learning experience that inspires good judgment and safe work habits.
