Matt Jeffs DPT is a 30+ year educator, ergonomist, consultant and clinician. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, he has successfully rehabilitated >25,000 individuals. As Lean Ergonomist with >12,000 hours of direct industrial experience, he is credentialed with the State of Florida’s 5,000-company strong Manufacturing Extension Program. Dr. Jeffs also served as Workforce Education Director for a robust 300-company Regional Manufacturers Association. As a work-injury reduction consultant, he has operated across the US in paper plants, juice processing plants, boat builders, meat processing plants, theme parks, cereal processing plants, airplane builders, medical device plants, automotive builders, office buildings, healthcare settings, defense contractors and more. He’s also a doctoral-level lecturer at universities and global governments. Dr. Jeffs is internationally sought to address worldwide conferences, professional associations, trade groups, private companies and executive summits.

Steven Courville
Certified Instructor
Steven is a former/retired law enforcement officer. A 32-year career in the home performance field; with over 20 years as an adult educator and technical trainer. In addition, Steven has taught health and safety involving construction and residential work sites. Steven had held several national certifications with Building Performance Institution Inc, Home Inspections, professional trainer and OSHA Authorized Trainer.

Scott McKenna
President, Catamount Consulting of New York
Scott McKenna is the President of Catamount Consulting of New York. He is a professional member of the International Society of Mine Safety Professionals (ISMSP), a certified instructor with the Mine Safety Health Administration, and an OSHA Certified Construction Trainer. He has over 15 years experience in the mining and construction industries and is active in the Joseph A. Holmes Safety Association among others. He has authored or contributed to several published articles on construction and mining safety and lectures on a regular basis to a wide variety of business and safety professionals. Mr. McKenna is also a certified trainer or instructor in a broad range of disciplines.

Jason Spector

Jason Spector is a 25 year veteran educator and coach. Jason has extensive experience in Social Emotional supports, Culture building and Mindset coaching. Fifteen years ago, Jason Co-Founded an organization that cultivates cultural empathy within groups and organizations. Jason’s work for the past two decades has connected to all facets of society around empowerment, human connection and peak performance. Jason has a Masters Degree in Coaching, he is certified as a Mindset Mastery Coach as well as a Culture of Care Trainer. Jason’s unique knowledge and experience offers a broad range of value to many individuals and groups in a wide variety of spaces. Along with his favorite role of being a father and husband he is also extremely passionate in Performance Psychology, Teaching, Wrestling, Mixed Martial Arts, Bodybuilding, Emotional Agility and Empathetic Conditioning. His mission is to teach others how to wake up energized, show up ready for anything and drive home fulfilled.

Ron Witt has been involved with safety and safety training for over 24 years. His experience ranges from having worked in both mining and construction as well as being an instructor at both Penn State and Drexel University. These experiences bring an extensive amount of safety knowledge and real world experience to our clients in both training and consulting. As a certified MSHA instructor, Master OSHA Instructor, ATSSA work zone Instructor or as an Instructor for the Rigging Institute, Ron can deliver quality, objective driven training classes to your operation.

Ron Coons, OHST, CSC
President of Greater Catskill Office, NY
Ron Coons has more than 30 years of business leadership experience in various industry sectors with the last 18 years? being spent helping businesses make dramatic improvements with their safety and health programs. He is the founder and past president of the Safety & Health Council of the Hudson Valley, a VPP affiliated not-for-profit that offers free training and networking opportunities to its more than 500 members. He is an OSHA outreach trainer for both construction and general industry and an MSHA instructor as well. He holds a bachelor's in Occupational Safety & Health Management as well as a certificate in Industrial Hygiene and Human Resource Management.

Dennis Riley
Chief Instructor of Tactical & Firearms Training
Dennis Riley has over 26 years of law enforcement experience in both the United States Marine Corps and the civilian sector. He has served at virtually every level and function of policing from patrol, special weapons and tactics to supervision furthermore, he has served in the intelligence community at the strategic level. Dennis has instructed in General Topics, Leadership, Non-Lethal Weapons, Defensive Tactics, Small Arms and Anti-Terrorism Force Protection. He specializes in client-based resolutions in disruptive environments. Dennis takes a collaborative and unconventional approach to teaching. Dennis advocates for safe and sane firearms instruction for enthusiasts. He is an avid competitive shooter and outdoors enthusiast.

Michael Music
Certified Mine Safety Instructor
As a former US Marine and Mine Safety Health Administration Supervisor, Mike has received extensive training and experience in all facets of the safety industry. As a certified mine safety instructor, Mike utilizes his experience to assist mine operations and construction workers with compliance and general safety training. Mike specializes in assisting with legal matters following citations and compensation matters as well as supervisory and management training.

Heidi Williams
Office Manager
Heidi is the Office Manager for Catamount Consulting offices. Heidi's primary objective is to oversee all offices for the Catamount Group, the Learning Management System (LMS) program, the online training portal and development of future Catamount offices. Catamount Consulting has offices throughout the Northeast. Catamount has developed several national seminars including Supervisor Seminars and ACRI Training. She also assists with our on-Site, Mobile Drug and Alcohol Testing and Mobile Hearing functions. Heidi has over 8 years of experience in the mining industry and is active in many safety associations.

Reid Wobby
Certified Instructor
Reid has over 15 years of combined experience in the US Army and construction and mining industries. He earned multiple awards and decorations during his service with the US Army. Reid specializes in federal workplace guidelines regarding alcohol, cannabis and drug related issues; as well as state specific policies dealing with the legalization and decriminalization of it. He has extensive knowledge in safety management within the OSHA and MSHA realms.

Joe Keenan
Senior Environmental Health and Safety/Risk Management Consultant
Joe is highly experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Human Resources (HR) Professional and Management Consultant with over 26 years of experience. Joe received his Green Belt in Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing in 2005, Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a Human Resource Management Concentration in 2007 and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) in 2011. He currently serves as Mississippi and Alabama Area Director of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and is an OSHA General Industry and Construction 10/30-Hour Authorized Outreach Trainer.

Irvin Gill

Irvin Gill is the president of Catamount Consulting of Pennsylvania in Wyomissing. He has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry as well as safety management and training, most recently serving as the area coordinator for a large mining company overseeing all aspects of their open pit mining operations. His combination of knowledge, real world experience and expertise bring our clients a unique perspective in both training and consulting. Irv is also a certified trainer or instructor in a broad range of disciplines.
